I became a dental assistant at 19 years of age and fell in love. The rest, as they say, is history.
Working with my father-in-law, who has built a reputation of being an honorable and excellent dentist, is a privilege. I meet people every day who have known my husband’s family for years. It gives a real sense of community, something that gets lost in big cities. I only hope I can make a difference by educating my patients and being honest when helping them with their dental needs.
Having a healthy mouth with strong beautiful teeth is the gateway to a strong and healthy body. Offering my dental knowledge makes me feel like I’m doing my part in the community.

Outside the Office
I grew up in Southern California and now live in Liberty Township. My family and I moved here in the late spring of 2013 after my time as a captain in the US Army was completed. I met my husband Steve on the first day of orientation at the University of Kentucky. A friendship sparked, but later on it became more than friendship. We married a week after we graduated dental school. Two of our children were born while I served in the US Army at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Our third child was born here in Cincinnati.
My family and I are always looking for fun new adventures. It’s rare for us to sit around the house all day. Whether it’s swim classes, baseball, soccer, tumbling classes, or picking a spot on the map and driving, we are always on the go.
I volunteer each year in my kids’ schools and with Give Kids a Smile. Give Kids a Smile is an organization that sets up mobile dental clinics around the country to offer free dental care for children in need. I offer my dental experience, knowledge, and time helping the children in our Cincinnati area. I believe that each child, no matter where they come from, has the ability to be someone great. No matter how small my part, I hope to be a positive role model by educating them on how to take care of their teeth while making their smile beautiful.
