My passion for dentistry stems from an unconditional desire to spread joy and laughter to those around me. In my opinion, sharing your smile with others is one of the greatest gifts you could give to those around you. My goal as a practitioner is to help my patients become comfortable with their smile so that they, too, want to share it with everyone around them.
My philosophy about dentistry centers around treating each patient with kindness and respect, while providing an acute sense of detail to their individual dental needs. I hope to offer my patients a conservative approach to dentistry along with the most up to date standard of care for procedures to help provide the highest quality treatment possible.
I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!), and my Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from LECOM School of Dental Medicine in Bradenton, Florida. While in dental school I was actively involved in the American Student Dental Association, Student Government Association where I served as a class representative, the American Association of Women in Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Florida Dental Association. I spent numerous hours giving back to the community during the annual Give Kids a Smile event and volunteering at local schools and senior living facilities doing dental examinations. I am currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, and the Keely Dental Society.
Outside of dentistry, I usually like to find myself spending time with my family and friends, enjoying live music, or soaking up the sun. I am originally from Leesburg, Georgia and I recently moved to Hamilton, Ohio after marrying my dental school sweetheart and fellow dentist, Jimmy Maloney.
I am so excited to be an addition to Lakota Dental and look forward to meeting you!
