Our front office team is here to help with all your scheduling, financial, and insurance needs. Most often, our front desk staff members are the first smiling faces you’ll see when you come into the office. They’re always available to answer any question you may have and want to make your time here as pleasant, comfortable, and stress-free as possible.
Julie – Office Manager
Julie joined Lakota Dental in 1993 and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and marketing from the University of Cincinnati. Meeting new people and making sure they all have a great experience is the best part of her job. Julie has three sons and enjoys running, working out, and watching her sons’ sporting activities. She also volunteers in the nursery at her church.
Anna – Business Assistant
Anna’s education is in finance, credit, and linguistics, which makes her well suited to handle the administrative aspects of our patients’ care. She takes a personal approach to patient care and has a genuine interest in addressing our patients’ concerns. Anna loves seeing happy patients who are satisfied with the service they’ve received. Anna is married and has a cat. She enjoys playing the piano, working in the garden, painting, and taking morning walks in the park with her husband.
Arrella – Business Administrator
Arrella has been a part of our front office team since 1992. In that time, she’s gotten to know many of our patients and their families, and enjoys the personal relationships she’s developed with them. Arrella also appreciates working with a group of doctors and staff who are truly like a second family. Her family at home consists of her husband, four kids, and a dog. She enjoys camping and watching her kids play sports.
Our dental hygienists take great pride in giving each patient individualized care during regular checkups and cleanings. In addition to polishing your teeth and examining the health of your gums, our hygienists will also give you all the information you need to keep your teeth healthy and your smile looking its best. When it comes to patient care, our hygienists are second to none in providing a comfortable, positive dental experience you’re sure to enjoy.
Jennifer graduated in 1997 from the University of Cincinnati-Raymond Walters College. She enjoys interacting with patients, especially when she can see that the care she’s provided has really made a difference in a patient’s health. Jennifer has been married for 21 years and has two kids and two dogs. Her free time is spent with family and friends, reading, boating, visiting her mom in Florida, and cheering for the Bengals and Reds.
Kelly joined our office in 2005 after graduating from the University of Cincinnati-Raymond Walters College. She excels at interacting with patients and helping them feel comfortable in a sometimes uncomfortable situation. Along with the rest of our team, Kelly is a truly caring individual who genuinely cares for her patients. Kelly is happily married with one child. She loves animals, outdoor activities, and volunteering, both with her daughters’ activities and with Give Kids a Smile.
Laura earned her degree in dental hygiene from the University of Cincinnati and joined our team in 1992. She has built a personal bond with many families over the past 24 years. Laura has a high regard for ethics and emphasizes that patient care is paramount.
Maggie joined Lakota Dental in 1995 after graduating from Westbrook College in 1977 and the University of Rhode Island in 1981 with her BS in dental hygiene. Twenty years has given Maggie lots of time to make good friends here, and most of them are like her second family. Maggie grew up in Maine and New Hampshire and moved to Ohio in 1995 after her husband separated from the Navy. They have three grown sons — Marc, Ian, and Nick — and two white German shepherds, Lola and Zeke. She spends her free time knitting and going on walks with her dogs.
Mary graduated from Sinclair Community College in 1989 and has more than 25 years of experience in dental hygiene here at Lakota Dental. She works with patients on a one-on-one level so they can be educated and informed about all aspects of their oral and overall health. She always puts her patients and their needs first. Mary has two girls and loves spending time with family, reading, and traveling.
Michelle earned her degree in dental hygiene from Indiana University in 1997 and joined Lakota Dental in 2005. The past ten years have allowed her to get to know patients by seeing them on a regular basis for cleanings and exams. She is a great team player! In her spare time, Michelle enjoys being with her husband, two kids, and two dogs. Her hobbies include running, shopping, and attending her kids’ activities.
Our dental assistants are here to make your experience in our office as easy and stress-free as possible. Usually found working alongside the dentists, our assistants help with many of the procedures and treatments you’ll receive at our office. They are dedicated individuals who look forward to building a relationship with you and your family.
Kaitlyn’s goal is to make patients feel comfortable and have them leave with a happy, healthy smile. She gets along great with all our staff and appreciates their kindness and willingness to share knowledge. since she is relatively new to the dental field. Kaitlyn has a dog named Kobe that waits patiently for her at home. Her interests include hanging out with family and friends, outdoor activities, working out, summers at the beach, and shopping.
Leslie thrives in a social environment and at working with her hands. She’s been a part of our team since 2007 and is very good at making patients feel comfortable. Leslie has been married since 1982. She and her husband have two children and one grandchild. She loves being with family and friends, riding her motorcycle, gardening, and reading. Leslie also has two rescue dogs, a Jack Russell mix and a Corgi mix.
In order to make patients feel welcome and comfortable, Kelsey takes the time to get to know them, does her best to better understand their needs, and is always willing to help her fellow teammates. Kelsey is a down-to-earth kind of girl who loves spending time with her family and friends. One of her favorite hobbies is doing shellac nails. Of course, Kelsey likes nothing better than to sit back and watch the Bengals play or spend time on the slopes of Perfect North!
